Lawry's for 21st?
Eventually i did not take up the job offer as a hair dye promoter.. heheh. There are 2 valid reason for me turning down job: (1) Mum don really agree to it, cause she feel its hard work n not really worth the cash. Only paid peanuts for commission. (2) Partially, also due to my reluctance to sacrifice the wkends. Ha.. So, there u haf it, i m still in search of a temp job after almost a mth long of job hunt. Shall i simply give it up? I haf lost much of my drive to continue lookin for a temp job, hence, haf eventually decided on Thurs to sign up wif Recruit Express to entrust them the task of finding 1 for me. Still no news yet. Nvm, i'll wait. I've taken the back seat n thus adopted the attitude of relax-one-corner, taking my own sweet time to flip thru the Recruit. No more rushing down for job interviews, no no. Learnt our lesson(s) from the countless times we were cheated into gng down for an interview for sth tat initially seemed to be gd which later on turned out to be an absolutely different thing (rem the 'Esplanade privillage card' incident in my previous entry?). Heard from Clara tat her boss might need a replacement for the perfum sales thingy at Parky.. Actually, i m pretty up for it since its near my place n just for the wkends. Anyway, i'm hoping the Tues briefing for the sales of edu pdt for Book Fair exhibition at Suntec will haf a positive outcome. Just a short assignment, shld be fun.. Oh ya, i haf came up wif a nice little wish for my 21st bday. Heheheh... As the three piggy sisters were out on Fri for a dinner date n coffee in town, we walked pass the Lawry's Prime Ribs restaurant.... "It'll be great to haf a date to bring me there to celebrate my 21st." The tot just came across my mind. Haha.. Maybe a little too early to be dreaming.. :p
