Happy happy birthday sh!
Happy birthday to ME!! Celebrated my 22nd yr on earth today. Had lotsa choc cakes n yummie-licious dinners! Celebrations started on wed over dinner wif the folks at work in a Teochew restaurant at Chinatown. There, i got my 1st present! Sth which i've been wanting to get my hands on...... Shu Umaeru eyelash curler! HahA! Still a long way to go on mastering the perfectly curled lash. Hhehe. Need more practise on tat. =P Fri was another round of celeb wif the gals. Though only few could make it, I was really really touched by their efforts to arrange a mini celeb for me n even purchase a Bakers Inn cake. Its always heart warming to know tat ppl ard us do care. :) Thanx gals! I had a great time catchin up wif the 3 of u tat night..Lastly, it was dinner wif the 'Wong family'. Hehhe... The bday gal requested for buffet! Haha! Chinese buffet eh... 1st time trying. Sure cost quite a bit but it was worth the bucks spent. We had dinner at UOB centre at Sichuan Douhua. Nice food, good view from the 60th storey. Best of all, its not crowded! Yeah! Great ambience as well. Every1 was too filled to stomach the dessert (my bday cake, proudly sponsored by 'the in-law Tan' from The Patissier) eventually. Hehe.. Following on, it was gals night out (wif 'the in-law Tan' oso) to Dragonfly at St James! Sad to say, its not a place i wld recommend for the young! (U know wad i mean hor?) Hahaah! Allow me to explain why, no.1, they employ a live band singing chinese n canto songs (Oh NO!). No.2, the crowd was mainly chinese bengs n lians--oops. Wahha! Not gng there a 2nd time man.. Nonetheless, it was quite an experience. Thanx for the company piggies--n the dinner arrangements n the very 'personal' present! Heheh.. Cheers to the piggy sistahood!
